Ad in Imagineer (and other updates)
We created an ad to go in Imagineer, one of Andrew’s friend’s magazines that will be distributed at the end of the month. Liz’s dad will be paying for it (THANKS!) and it should hopefully increase participation/donations! Also, we are working on a powerpoint and shifts for OneMichigan on April 9 from 10-4 in the diag. You get to showcase your community service club and try to recruit people. They play powerpoints throughout the day to show the clubs’ accomplishments/info/etc. Also, we are still working on a T-shirt design. We’ll vote at the next meeting, or might just make a combination of Jess and Keegan’s ideas.
Sidenote: Last night at the meeting, Jess donated the SOFTEST CUDDLIEST FLUFFIEST SCARF EVER!!!

Also, we donated a little over 25 scarves to the Northwestern Settlement House in Evanston on our ASB trip (we forgot to count so they gave us an estimate on the number).

Lion Brand
we sent a letter on Monday that Sam wrote to the Lion Brand headquarters asking for a discount or donation–we’ll see how that goes
scarf delivery
We delivered another batch of 49 scarves to the DeLonis center on Thursday! Good job knitters 🙂 Kelly graciously let us use her car!
They still weren’t very grateful, so we plan on talking to David and Wendy to figure out how to form a relationship with them or find another place to donate to.
Officer Meeting 3/9
We had a quick emergency meeting today during dinner. This is what we discussed:
ASB donations
We donated a box of scarves to the Northwestern Settlement House in Chicago (don’t know how many…will be getting a number and pictures soon). We also donated 40 scarves to Jane A. Neil Elementary School in the south side of Chicago.
